My paintings focus on the Rocky Mountains Dramatic Western Landscapes,
Seascapes, Desert Sunsets, Thunderstorms,
and Figurative Subjects.
I am a native Colorado artist, born in Boulder. I am now based in Loveland Colorado.I like action, so many of my landscapes include storms with lightning.Now and again, I will take a break and create figurative work.My primary medium is Acrylic.As a child I loved to make landscapes with my crayons of narrowing roads disappearing over hills toward the Rocky Mountains. This inherent sense of perspective is basic to my compositions whether from reality or my mind.In grade school, I always won the art competitions in my 5th grade class because of this ability to create simple compositions using this trick.Thanks to my career choices as an actor, singer and voice teacher, I have been able to sustain a lifelong artistic practice spanning more than 65 years
