I received my masters in Fine Arts at the University of Colorado in 1968. I taught sculpture and painting in Rockland New York which was not a good fit so my wife and I decided to go into the city where I spent 5 years as a studio artist. In the summer of 1974, I was in a two man show with the gallery OK Harris. After the show, I decided NYC life was not for me. So I returned to my hometown, Boulder, Colorado, my birthplace. I soon got a job teaching art at the Community College in Broomfield. However, It didn’t take long for me to realize I really needed to make a decent living. I spent the next 40 years as a real estate agent, which I really enjoyed. But now, retired and back to painting, I am enjoying my re-connection with nature.
